-if the color doesn't look quite right just keep going ( I am sure it will dry darker)

I decided that it would be a good idea to do a little painting. I opened the can and got right to work. I have only painted one time before this and I just thought the paint would dry darker. NOPE!!! Not only did I paint the stairs and the hall, I went through the living room touching up all the nicks and scuffs. I finally realized I had gotten the wrong paint can out of the closet. I spent the rest of the afternoon repainting my hall, stairs and living room. So much for a quick paint job.

Well, that was good for a laugh. And you kept going! That's persistance for you, but probably not what Heber J. had in mind when he quoted,"that which we persist in doing becomes easier for us to do..." Cleaning up a wall that looks like that is a real beast. Oh well, live and learn, and laugh! GG

I could use some good painting classes. We miss you guys. I think about you everyday. I saw pics from Joanne's shower on Facebook. I totally cried when I saw a pic of you with balloons up your shirt. I am sorry that your babies were sick mostly because I am sure that we gave it to you. Curse those Shafers!!!! Anyhoo, let's skype very soon. We love you guys!
