Funny thing... kids don't adjust to Hawaiian time very easily. Hawaii time is 6 hours behind NYC time. So 4:00am Hawaii time is really 10:00 am NYC time. Lexi and Coop were ready to go bright and early at 4:oo am. We got up and drove around Waikiki and then headed back to Kailua Beach to watch the sunrise.
Helpful hint: To achieve sexy sunburn streaks (as pictured below) apply liberally to your children and then wipe what is left on your hands quickly over your legs and neck. Oh Baby!
