Kira was born at 3:25 pm on August 16, and since she was so big (10 lbs, 3 oz) they immediately took her to the NICU to observe her sugar levels. While monitoring the sugars, the doctors discovered that her blood oxygen levels were not as high as they would like and started investigating a bit more. She has a slight heart murmur that should resolve on its own, but Little Kira's blood oxygen levels have been too low, so she is currently in NICU on oxygen until she can get her levels above 95% on her own. They think Sunday she will be able to come home. Pray for her. She is beautiful and so extremely sweet!

OHHHH, she is so sweet. I hate seeing her hooked up to all those tubes, monitors and IV's... makes me cry. She is in our thoughts and prayers. Looks like you have excellent help with the Grandma's around!!!! Congrats on a beautiful little princess!!! Can't wait till you are all home! Love you!
She is so precious!! Good to know she is getting better but all those tubes and monitors, my heart aches and tears flow. You are so amazing!! You are in every prayer. Love you tons and can't wait for you all to be at home together.
